The floats also provide space for internal fresh water and waste water tanks.
The house construction is of pressure-treated timber, with UV-stable PVC external weatherboard cladding in a choice of colours, marine-grade Stainless Steel external deck fixtures and railings, constructed on a galvanised steel frame.
Thames Waterlodges are environmentally friendly, with generous thermal insulation, double-glazed windows, and a state-of-the-art gas or electric central heating system, which all helps to keep running costs low.
