One's first impression of the Coastliner is of the relatively high freeoard and wide beam, these give a deep secure cockpit with space and stability.

The Coastliner's traditionla look hide the fact that she is actually a planing boat capable of zipping across the water at over 20 knots. However, it is what you cannot see that is more important, such as over 9 cu.ft of polyurethane foam buoyancy positioned under the seating around the cockpit so as to ensure that should the worst happen the Coastliner wil float upright and remain stable. A 'boc' type construction creates the strength that the Coastliner needs to take punishment without adding unnecessary weight which would spoil the performance.

For serious fishing or family pleasure trips the easily trailed and launched Coastliner is the best choice in 14 footers.
