2015 Collingwood 57 Wide Beam Cruiser

‘Alice Anne’ was built in 2015 by Collingwood Boat Builders as a part fit-out and completed by the current owner. She has been well maintained and is a nice example of a reverse layout, 2 bedroom live aboard. She has a current boat boat safety certificate.

The back deck is a spacious area, ideal for entertaining. There is good access to the engine bay, with the Canaline 52 engine, batteries and the clarifier, but there is also plenty of storage space. A large gas locker also acts as a seat.

A pair of doors and a sliding hatch lead down the steps to the living area & galley. On the starboard side of the steps is a cupboard containing the fuse boards and Weaco inverter charger. The galley is well designed with a gas cooker and 5 ring hob, washing machine, sink, fridge freezer and lots of storage space and work surface.

The breakfast bar area divides the galley from the living area, which is spacious but also has a cosy feel. There are 4 large rectangular windows and an opening hatch providing lots of light and air. The rooms are heated with radiators from the diesel powered hydronic central heating system. The furniture on the boat is all included in the price.

A corridor with porthole leads off the main living area. From here there is a sliding door to the first bedroom. This has been used as a child’s bedroom and currently has a cabin bed. A porthole provides plenty of light (along with 12 v lights which are throughout the boat).

The next room is the large bathroom, entered via a sliding door to maximise space. There is a large shower cubicle, sink with vanity unit and a pump out toilet (the waste tank is under the bed in the master bedroom). The bathroom also has some built in storage making it a well-designed space.

At the bow of the boat is the master bedroom. This room has a king-size island bed, with storage below, as well as the waste tank. There are freestanding wardrobes in here giving lots of storage options. Hardwood double doors lead to the bow deck.

The bow deck has a storage locker right in the bow and room for a table and chairs.

It has been fitted out to a good standard and is ready for someone to make their own with finishing touches. Due to her size she is big enough for comfortable living, yet easy to moor and manoeuvre. She is already in the water on the River Thames, currently moored at Thames Boat House, Shepperton.
